This pressed leaf from the very rare Mexican lime Tilia mexicana, grows at Spilsbury from the seed collected by Compton, d'Arcy & Rix in 1991. It is coated in a blend of ultramarine and prussian blue oil paint and dried before being placed between two sheets of glass

  • All Tania's leaves are bound to fade and or shrink a bit with time but their longevity will be increased if they are kept out of direct sunlight.
